Eminem反美国总统川普freestyle视频放出一周年之际，Shady接受Elton John采访透露有意思的细节。本来Em是要在BET颁奖典礼现场演出的，但是后来他们担心颁奖典礼是提前录制的，怕他的演出会因为现场的手机录像提前泄露。。。于是改变了想法回到底特律车库录制。
“They were worried about people in the audience with their cell phones. Then whatever I say gets out there in the wrong context or just pieces of it you know. So it kind of got switch at the last minute for them to come to Detroit. So I had to switch some things around.”
在车库录制的想法是为了致敬牛x的政治嘻哈团体Public Enemy：
“It was basically a homage to Public Enemy’s cover of You’re Gonna Get Yours, a 12 inch single back in the day. But yeah that was kind of what we were trying to play off of was that.”
