Jay-Z带领旗下Roc Nation和环球音乐集团Universal Music Group签订了数年合同。环球击败了对手索尼音乐娱乐Sony Music Entertainment和华纳音乐集团Warner Music Group拿到Jay-Z合同。

根据协议，Hov和Roc Nation旗下艺人Rihanna, J. Cole等唱片将通过环球渠道Roc Nation/UMG发行。具体合同金额没有透露。
