Dr. Dre的N.W.A.传记电影Straight Outta Compton已经确定下来了演员。但他的儿子Curtis Young没能进入，因为爸爸反对。

原因是他还没有足够的演员经历。

Curtis Young告诉XXL说：

“I actually tried out for the role, ’cause the casting company called me. But my father wanted somebody with more acting experience, and I haven’t been acting for a long time, so I’m happy for the guy that got the role. It’s one of those things where we want what’s best for the movie and for the film.

I had a lot of fans that were upset about it, but whatever’s best for the film, that presents it in that light, then I’m for it. I want my father to be represented in the best way, so I didn’t feel any type of way about it at all.”

Curtis非常大度，他知道爸爸做什么都是要做到极致。

另外还有一件“伤心”的事情，Dr. Dre的耳机公司被苹果收购变成亿万富翁但没有与儿子“分享”财富，儿子很开明表示没事。

其实，Dre是个很严格的师父和爸爸。
