著名Hot 97的 DJ Funkmaster Flex并不买Cardi的帐。

他在“Cigar Talk”上说Cardi是terrible rapper。

但他认可Cardi是个很好的娱乐界人士，喜欢Cardi的swag，但不认可她的说唱能力。
“She’s an amazing entertainer. I love her on social media. I love the way she talks about a subject. I like her whole swag. I like everything, She’s a terrible rapper, man.”

被追问为什么，他说Cardi不是自己写词。

Hot 97电台著名DJ Flex骂了Jay Z的网站是垃圾后，再公开炮轰他说电台不需要他，因为他是个很商业的说唱歌手。他不需要听他做什么，电台不怕他。
