这是多么了不起的成就，Slim Shady的经纪人/老基友Paul被最新派到Def Jam Records担任CEO，这个厂牌有多厉害，大家都知道。

Rosenberg的实力摆在那里，但没有Eminem的影响力，他也不会走那么远。

Eminem’s longtime manager Paul Rosenberg has been named CEO of Def Jam Records, effective Jan. 1, 2018, the company announced in a press release Thursday morning. He will report to Lucian Grainge, chairman/CEO of Def Jam parent company Universal Music Group, and be based in the label’s New York headquarters.

Rosenberg will continue to manage Eminem and will start as CEO of Def Jam in Jan. 2018.

前天Eminem与Rihanna在洛杉矶共同表演了Love The Way You Lie这首歌，制作人Alex Da Kid向人们解释了这首歌背后的故事。

Alex：“我三年前就为Eminem制作了这首Love The Way You Lie的Beat，经过多次修改之后，我把它寄给了Eminem，实际上是我的经纪人寄给了EM的经纪人Paul Rosenberg，他很喜欢，于是就进入了EM的Recovery专辑。

Eminem真的是非常酷，非常亲和，不像其他一些艺人要求你这样那样做。他的团队也非常酷，因为与他们一起工作没有什么压力。而Eminem想要让Rihanna一起参与这首歌，而在此之前，我帮她制作新专辑，我们已经在一起工作了。Eminem把歌发给Rihanna听，然后她很喜欢。Rihanna的部分不是很多，但等到到他们合作的时候，每个人都非常喜欢…”

Not Afraid 这首歌被Eminem的经纪人Paul Rosenberg称作是“升华之作”。这首歌中，Eminem主要告诉大家在过去的几年里，他是怎样度过人生的低谷的，主要是克服他的用药和康复过程中的困难。Eminem说过上一张专辑Relapse与之前专辑比，不够出色后，他不会在将来讲类似的话。他也承诺他不会再离开他的说唱事业，现在他人生最关注的只剩下他的女儿和音乐事业。

在创作的过程中专辑制作人JimJonsin就表示：“他真的很尊重我的意见。他让我做我想做的。他问我关于一些歌词的新想法，
我们对歌词做了许多改变，一些歌词在Radio上可能可以放可能不行，我们谈论了很多。
他有到录音室外面去创作，但我更喜欢在他在的房间里，他真的很Cool。他非常开放，然后让我自己做。他自己做自己的，这真是一种非常愉快的经历。”

NotAfraid这首歌中，Eminem的歌词用词从细节来看，表达的是一种开放的心态，尤其在副歌部分，描写自己已经走出低谷的状态，并愿意帮助其他还在煎熬的人。
这是这位天王成熟的心态和更包容胸怀的体现。这一点在上一张Relapse的Beautiful这首歌就有体现。

NotAfraid发行才十天，就登上Billboard冠军宝座，这也是52年历史以来第十六首歌曲刚上榜就登上第一名的歌曲。 “Not Afraid” 单曲截止至2010-05-13，已经卖出了38万次，超过一千万人次的在线收听，横扫千军，收复失地！
