4月11日是Proof去世14周年，这视频是Eminem在听到Proof去世后的几小时被媒体抓拍到的，Em伤心欲绝，哭得一塌糊涂，那是阿姆人生最难熬的时刻，他最终挺过来了。

阿姆的手臂上和Proof手臂上有相同的纹身，都是Proof大字母纹身。

Proof是阿姆生命中无可替代的几个人，阿姆原话说，没有Proof就没有他今天。

“Without Proof, there would be no Eminem, no Slim Shady and no D12. You’re the man.”
这是2006年Eminem在Proof的葬礼上的致辞。

Proof是2006年4月11日在底特律的8 Mile东路上的CCC酒吧和一名35岁的男子Keith Bender Jr发生冲突，后遭到Bender的堂兄也是酒吧的保安枪击，2腔射中后背，1腔射中头部，送医院途中去世。

自从那之后，阿姆笑容开始变得很少，至少公开场合是那样的。

Eminem在泰森的昨天Hotboxin’节目上，Em谈到出道前的一些经历。

Shady是12-13岁时候开始写说唱歌词，在最开始的时候他没有自信，害怕去夜店里面表演，不敢在夜店里说唱，经常去固定的一些地方。这时候他生命中非常重要的人Proof一直鼓励他，Proof最早时候叫他去HipHop Shop的地方，Proof说，你来这边写歌吧，过来就是了。

阿姆说，“我们常在那里说唱，写歌，Proof把底特律的传奇制作人J Dilla和底特律的嘻哈先锋介绍给他。”

再说到，HipHop Shop，阿姆说，“一开始不知道那什么地方，就像那里他前面有10个对手，阿姆说，我要把你们全部干掉，在他们面前说唱，我rap了几句，台下开始炸了，我心想，这地方适合我。“

之后，阿姆就在那里Battle，两三个月1次大battle。

这些情节你们在8 Mile电影里都能看到。电影里Mekhi Phifer的角色是以现实的Proof为蓝本，电影里一直鼓励阿姆上台干掉那些对手。

这也是为什么Proof对阿姆来说是无可替代的。
