The singer was not home when the men robbed the residence, located in the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive (map), around 2 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Brown’s aunt was home alone at the time, heard a commotion and went to the front door, police said. The perpetrators then proceeded to rob the home. LAPD Lt. Kirk Kelley later said it was not clear how the robbers got inside the home. Unconfirmed reports indicated his aunt was locked in a closet during the robbery. Police said no one was injured during the incident.
