事实上，Rihanna已经向她的经纪公司Roc Nation表示，她不想再被隔离而不能与前男友正常交往，或者是按照他们的规则做事。

New York Post这样报道：

Management firm Roc Nation, owned by Jay-Z, advised the pop superstar to stay far from Brown, but sources tell us she’s defied their orders, after putting Brown’s voice on her suggestive song “Birthday Cake.”

“Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she’ll do whatever the hell she wants to,” said a source, adding, “Rihanna is rebelling. She says they have been working her too hard and she wants some time to herself. They fear she’ll secretly record an album with Brown, just to defy them.”

Rihanna还接受Elle杂志采访说到：“人们在博客上骂我(与Chris Brown和好)最终是浪费时间…因为明天我仍将是我自己，我仍然会做我想做的事。”

Rihanna和Chris Brown不久前合作过两首remix歌曲Birthday Cake和Turn Up The Music也可以说明他们已经和好，并成为好朋友。
