有传闻说，Chris不想让他与RiRi合作的新歌收录到新专辑X中。而在他们关系很好的时候，他们为这张专辑录制过歌曲。

“Just saw the working track list for ‘X’ yesterday — Rihanna is not on there. Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn’t allow the record to be released unless they took it off. They’re still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit. The record hasn’t been pressed yet, so things can change, but at this point he’s not changing his mind,”

唱片公司高层希望专辑收录这首歌曲，但Chris不想。

Chris在3月份的时候向USA Today证实RiRi会出现在专辑上：

“We’re taking it one day at a time. She’s a wonderful girl. She’s beautiful. She’s on tour and our schedules don’t allow us to be as close as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album.”
