Ne-Yo带着Jeezy客串的新专辑第一单曲Money Can’t Buy来到了The Breakfast Club电台，他谈了很多。

关于新专辑Non Fiction，Ne-Yo说，专辑保证R&B浓度在99.999%：

“I came on home with this one. This album is 99.999998% R&B, meaning I can’t completely abandon that fanbase ’cause they kept the lights on for a very long time. I still got some stuff that can live in that [pop] world, but there’s so much R&B on this album.”

谈到他的偶像迈克尔杰克逊在Billboard典礼上复活，他很感伤：

“It was dope, but of course you knew it was a hologram, It was kinda sad for me ’cause it just brought back like, man, he’s really gone.”

最近Ne-Yo新的兴趣是抽大麻，原因很有意思，因为他戒酒了，他说：我无法因为成为好酒鬼而成名，那就试试抽大麻吧..

“I’m famous for not being a good drinker, which is why I’ve started smoking recently,”

他说，也是因为从来没抽过，试试看什么感觉。
